Webinar – Employee Motivation When Working from Home. Can it be taken for granted?

Having employees work from home has helped countless companies maintain their operations in spite of the lockdown. But how will remote working function in the long run? Will companies lose team spirit and employee loyalty? Or will they benefit from increased motivation and personal responsibility?

blankIn the first webforum Working from Home, answers to these questions will be discussed: Richard Weller, Managing Director at Alpha IC in Nuremberg, has for years been investigating how the relationship between companies and their top performers develops when old management patterns no longer apply due to a lack of close contact. Sabrina Finger, Senior Manager in HR Strategy at atrify in Cologne, reports directly from the field on how she succeeded in outsourcing virtually all work, how she faced the challenges and what she is now doing differently during this new lockdown.

There are many aspects to remote working – some of which raise unresolved issues such as legal regulations, ergonomics, data protection and economic efficiency. Further instalments of the webinar series will address these and other aspects. The webforum Working from Home is a joint initiative by the associations BVMW (German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses) and GEFMA (German Association for Facility Management) as well as the companies Kesseböhmer Ergonomics and DART Beratende Designer.
